Karp describes AI as a low trust environment because many attempts failed. He then claims Palantir needs little sales force because working systems sell themselves. Trust thus shifts from a moral-institutional ideal to a market-epistemic condition: trust is earned by operational proof. The conversation thereby performs a contemporary legitimacy pattern: institutions seek to ground normative claims in performance metrics and working artifacts.
